Voting by Mail is at Risk

President Trump recently vowed to eliminate mail-in ballots and voting machines, spreading false claims about U.S. elections. In truth, elections are safeguarded by states and local officials with multiple layers of protection.

Mail-in voting is secure and trusted. It’s used nationwide by older adults, deployed or activated military members, tribal communities, people with disabilities, and rural voters.

Here in North Dakota, 36 of 53 counties depend on vote-by-mail. For many families, seniors, and shift workers, it isn’t just convenient, it’s often the only realistic way to cast a ballot.

In a state where weather, distance, and geography already create barriers, eliminating mail-in voting wouldn’t strengthen democracy; it would shut more people out.

Click HERE to take action and send a letter to North Dakota Secretary of State Michael Howe and urge him to preserve voting-by-mail in North Dakota!
